Biography
Birth
Elizabeth Lanchberry was born about 1811.
Marriage
John Thornton and Elizabeth Lanchberry were married at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 11th June 1832. [1] They were both of the parish, bachelor and spinster, and were married by banns. Neither could write so they each signed the register with a cross. The witnesses to the marriage were William Thornton and Mary Thornton.
Death
Elizabeth died in 1837[2] and was buried at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 9th November at the age of just 26.[3]
