She was the daughter of George Lang (or Long) and Catharina Miller. George came from Pennsylvania to North Carolina in 1753. Judging from the birth dates of their children, he probably didn't marry Catharina Miller until after he arrived in NC.
Maria Catharina Lang married Joseph Holder in 1792.[1]
George's will[2], written in 1797 and probated in 1805, names his children, including Catherine Holder.
The card file at the Moravian Archives in Winston-Salem says that Joseph and Maria Catharina had two children.
She is buried in Bethania Moravian God's Acre in Forsyth County, North Carolina.[3]
