Biography

Alfred Arthur Willey Langdon was born about 1846 in Drayton, Somerset, England, son of Harriet (Willey) Langdon and William Langdon.^{[citation needed]}

He migrated to Australia, departing 26 March 1857.^{[citation needed]}

He married Jane Beatty on 23 November 1870 in Geelong, Victoria.^[1] Their son was:

• Herbert Alfred Langdon (1873–1912)^[2]

Jane died in 1879.^[3]

Alfred remarried in 1884 in Victoria, to Alice Elizabeth Harris.^[4]

Alfred died on 15 July 1905 in East Bellarine, Victoria.^{[citation needed]} His remains were buried in Portarlington, Victoria.^{[citation needed]}
