John Lange was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)
John Frederick Lange was born on 24 February 1862 in Bathurst, Colony of New South Wales.
John and Anna Dora Dorodea Fischer were married on 29 September 1883 in Chatsworth Island NSW Australia. Anna was born on 26 May 1863 in Maclean NSW Australia. She was the daughter of Wilhelm Fischer and Anna Margarethe (Kratz) Fischer.[1]

- John William Lange (1889–1988)
- Frederick Lange (1890–1981)
- Catherine Ann (Kate) Lange (1893–1974)
- Henry (Harry) Lange (1896–1990)

John passed away on 19 September 1940 in Cudgen, New South Wales, Australia.
