Hector Louis Langevin, son of Jean Langevin and Sophie Scholastique La Force, married Marie Justine Têtu on 10 January 1854 in Rivière-Ouelle.[1]
He became a Lawyer in 1850. He was elected Mayor of Quebec in 1857 and was re-elected in 1858 and 1859. He became the postmaster general for Quebec in Nov 1866.
He died in Québec on 11 June 1906, and was buried four days later in the chapel of l'Hôtel Dieu du Precieux Sang de Québec.[2]
