Mother of twelve children, Six sons and six daughters. Four sons and six daughters lived to be grown. Her daughter, Susan Flemming died the day before she did at her Aunt Mary Hardy's home in Lowndes, Alabama. She was born 1-31-1829 in Lowndes County and married M. Flemming about one year before her death.
Their coffins were placed side by side and buried near each other.
