Rebecca Lapham was born in 1757 the daughter of Solomon and Sylvia (Lapham) Lapham. She married (1) Benjamin Smith Jr. in Glocester MA on 1 Jan 1775, Benjamin
was the son of Benjamin and Mary Winsor Smith, he died 27 Dec 1781, Rebecca married (2) Elisha Brown 25 Mar 1784 in Glocester MA. He was the son of David Brown of Pomfret, Conn.
Rebecca and Benjamin had one child: Artemus Smith.[1]
