Lydia was born about 1644 in Scituate. She was the daughter of Thomas and Mary (Tilden) Lapham.[1][2] In his will, her father Thomas gave "to my daughter Lidia the calfe of my Nancye Cow...[3]
Lydia married Samuel Bates in Scituate on 20 Feb 1666/67.[4] Death records have not been located for either of them and family tradition says they relocated to Long Island.[5]

There's a WT suggestion that points out that Mary's dob is after Lydia's dod. I don't know which shpuld be corrected because neither is convincingly documented. Could somebody give me a hand here?
