John Lapham (David, Jonathan, John, John, John ) was born in 1783, the son of David Lapham (1764-) & Sarah (Duncan) Lapham (abt.1766-).. He married 1) Lydia Norwood and 2) Nancy Guthrie Mosler.
He had nine children :
John Lapham married Nancy Mosier 20 Jan 1837. [2] Nancy Guthrie previously married Henry Mosier (or Mosher, per Findagrave) and had, possibly, four children with him.
John Lapham was born in Bangall, Dutchess County, New York and died 29 Aug 1875 in Mentor, Lake County, Ohio. He was buried in the Mentor Municipal Cemetery in Mentor, where his wife, Nancy Guthrie Lapham is also buried.[4]
Research Note
The John Lapham who married Nancy Guthrie and was the father of John b c 1840 and Samuel b c 1844 was the son of David and Sarah (Duncan) Lapham. His first wife was Lydia Norwood. From the date of his marriage to Nancy, Lydia was the mother of John's first four children Nancy was mother of the last five.

Lapham-1001 and Lapham-326 appear to represent the same person because: same first name, same parents, same wife, daughter Polly; dates & middle initial need to be confirmed. Lydia will also need to be merged.
