Samuel Lapham was born 26 Aug 1876 in Dearborn, Wayne, Michigan, the son of David & Nettie Lapham.[1]

Samuel David Lapham was born 26 Aug 1876, son of David Pardee Lapham and Nettie Caroline Thurber, He married Eva Blanche Coleman of Inkster who was born 24 Dec 1876 on 21 Sept. 21 1898, Four children are listed:

  1. David Francis born 14 Sep 1901; married 31 Dec 1924, Bernice E. Phipps,
  2. Robert Samuel born 4 Dec 1904; married 8 Aug 1927, Esther Marion White
  3. James Abram born 21 Sep 1916; married 1) 21 Sep1940, Lillian Kimsbrough; 2) Dorothy Shuman.
  4. Louis Xavier, twin of James, born 21 Sep 1916; married 29 May 1941, Evelyn Louise Harrison.

Samuel D. Lapham operated a Lumber Yard and Real Estate Business, was Mayor of Dearborn and served on the school board. .[2]
