Lydia, daughter of Thomas Lapham, was born at Scituate, Massachusetts on 6 Jun 1677. [1][2]

A different original record could be read as 'Sylvia':

This in a list which includes her siblings Joseph, Samuel & Mary and their respective birth dates.[3]

There is a broken, partially readable, stone in the Marshfield Hills Cemetery in Marshfield, Plymouth County, Massachusetts that is attributed to a Lydia Lapham dob unknown who died 6 Jul 1738. The inscription reads: "Died at age 61." [4]

Lydia Lapham's will was dated 7 Feb 1737 and proved 22 Jul 1738 and mentioned her cousins/nephews and nieces:

David Lapham (executor), Joshua Lapham, Hannah Stetson, Mary Lapham, Elizabeth Sherman, Mercy Lapham, Thankful King and Lydia Lapham.

She was "of Scituate" a spinster and sister of Samuel. [5] Her inventory was recorded on 28 July 1738 in Scituate.[6]
