"Augustus who writes this Account, married Mary Scott, daughter of
John Scott of North Providence, by whom he had nine children, Amos,
Lydia, Sarah, Ruth, Thomas, David, Abigail, Eunice and Hannah. Sarah
died aged sixteen of fever. Ruth died aged fifteen and one half years
of the same disease. Thomas died aged five months, three days. Hannah
died aged two years seven months."[1]
