DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Grace by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Grace:
Unknown-369579 and Larrabee-24 appear to represent the same person because: they share similar vital statistics and the same spouse, Richard Cook/Cooke (when merged).
Before I approve/complete this merge, be aware that there is no reliable source showing the existence of a Grace Larabee d/o Greenfield. The wife of Richard Cooke is Grace Unknown
What is the source of her last name at birth? Torrey shows Richard Cook married Grace _______ ...?
In searching Norwich VR's, no Grace Larrabee (or any name close to that) has been found. Looking further throughout CT, there is no Grace born between 1650 and 1665.
All the other Larrabee children were born in Saybrook, two sources of which are on her "father's" profile.
If there are no sources for her name, her last name at birth should be changed to Unknown.
There isn't a daughter named Grace Larrabee but there is an Elizabeth Larrabee who was born on January 23, 1652 (same date of birth as Grace) but Elizabeth was married to Joshua Hempstead then 2nd. to John Edgecomb. So your ancestor Grace Cook must be someone else other then a daughter of Greenfield Larrabee.
