Biography
Irene was born about 1888. She was the daughter of John Larkin and Rosanna Halpin. She passed away about 1966. Mrs. Irene Larkin McGrath, of 529 Second Avenue. Watervliet, died at her home after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late John and Rose Halpin Larkin, and the wife of the late Leo P. McGrath. Mrs. McGrath was educated in St. Brigid’s School and a graduate of Watervliet High School. She was a communicant of St. Brigid's Church. Surviving are two sons, Harry McGrath of Troy and Pierce McGrath of Wilson, NY; three daughters, Miss Rose McGrath, Miss Barbara McGrath and Mrs. Zita C. Paone, all of Watervliet, seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
