THOMAS E. LARKIN
Thomas E. Larkin, aged 65 years, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Bertha Luckado, at 1:30 p. m. Wednesday. The funeral will be at the residence at 4 p. m. Saturday, conducted by Rev. Karl W. Kramer, with burial at Sunset Hill cemetery. Mr. Larkin was president of the Farmers State Bank and was also a large land owner besides owning several pieces of property in this city. He is survived by three sisters besides Mrs. Luckado, Mrs. Anna Howk and Mrs. Elizabeth Chaplin, Tallahassee, Fla., and Mrs. Ella Deanito, Pittsburg, Pa., and two brothers, R. B. Larkin, Graham, Tenn., and John Larkin, in the west. Mr. Larkin was a member of the I. O. O. F. lodge and the members of this order will have charge at the grave. He was not a member of the church but always gave to the support of the church. He donated the land where the Larkin Baptist church stands.
