At the time of the children's births they lived at Skogarp but in 1722 Jöns bought the farm Älmhestra from the county sheriff Olof Borgström.[3][4]
Jöns died in February 1747 and was buried February 5.[1]
Älmhestra Estate
Jöns had, as mentioned above, bought the estate Älmhestra in 1722.[4] Jöns died in February 1747[5] but it was not until 1767 that Johannes took over as an owner of 1/7 part of the estate, and in 1769 he inherited the rest.[6] The estate belonged in the same family well into the 1900's.[4]
