At the time of Älvsborgs lösen 1613, the household of Anders Larsson contained himself, his wife and two sons of taxable age.[1]
Hustru Elin, the widow of Anders Larsson in Sunnansjö, about 50 years old, died and was buried 12 April 1628.[2] Since Elin was a widow in 1628, and since this is the first year we have Grangärde church records for, we can only conclude that he died somewhat earlier.
It is fairly uncertain how many of the attached children are really his children.
RESEARCH NOTE: The "Byalängder" of Kjell Vadfors is a overview of Grangärde for the time before church archives, using district court records and tax rolls. There are however not always clear exact what sources that supports a fact, and sometimes there is none. There has also been some direct mistakes found. But still it is a valuable help, even if you need to find original sources and analyze them as well.

This branch has been assembled from two or three different, well-researched, Swedish genealogies, from different parts of the country. The part from Norway seems to stem from research in the 1930s, now considered very fanciful. The patched-together tree occurs on more or less all the big genealogy sites.
