The name WIlliam Laskey appears in the lists of American prisoners held by the English during the Revolution[8]. There is no reason to believe this is William Laskey from Barrington, there were other Williams in this family.
Except that William Laskey seems to have died early. His wife lived on his fish-lot for a while and then afterward with her sister Rachel (Snow) Swain, wife of Joseph Swain, who lived at Port Latour, NS[5][4]
