Biography
Ann (Latham) Jones was a convict after the Third Fleet transported to New South Wales
The first thing to note is that she arrived on the Wanstead which departed England in August 1813 and sailed into Sydney on 9 Jan 1814 a as one of 119 female convicts. On the manifest she has the name Ann Lubbam. Lubbam is taken as a phonetic spelling of Latham.
She was sentenced in the Gloucester Assizes on 28 March 1812 to 7 years and transported to NSW.
