Ruth Latham was born on March 13, 1729 in Newfoundland, daughter of Thomas Latham (<1693–1747) and Annah Fosdick (1691–1761).

Ruth (18) married Timothy Forsyth (29) (born on March 15, 1718 in Groton, Connecticut, New England; son of James Forsyth Sr. and Hannah (Lester) Forsyth) in 1748 in Montville, Connecticut. Their children were:

Ruth died about January 8, 1806 in Montville, New London, Connecticut, United States, aged about 76. She was buried in Congdon Street Cemetery.[1] [2] [3] [4]
