Probate
Robert Latham of Bridgewater, gentleman died intestate and on 5 January 1789 Hezekiah Hooper was granted the administration of his estate.[1]
His inventory was taken on 31 January 1789 in Bridgewater.[2] His estate was represented as insolvent.[3] A list of claims and creditors was recorded. An account of his estate by Hezekiah Hooper was also recorded which included allowance to the widow, taxes, and administration fees.[4]
In 1790, his widow Jerusha received her dower. A second account of his estate by Hezekiah Hooper was recorded which included the sale of real estate, and administration fees. The balance of the estate was proportioned to pay the creditors.[5]
