Biography
Mary Laughlin born 1825 in Ohio. The third child of Elizabeth Lee and James Laughlin both of Pennsylvania. The Laughlins migrated from Pennsylvania to Ohio, finally settling in Iowa.
I believe Mary may have never married. I found her listed as Single at the age of 55. She was living with her sister Janes family (Ferguson) according to an 1880 Marion, Marshall County, Iowa Census.
I suspect she passed not long after. findagrave info shows her age to be 55 years 4 months & 24 days at the time of her death. She is buried among family members in the Rock Creek Cemetery, In Tama, Tama, Iowa.
