Luther Curtis Lavender, was born on 31 May 1904 at Waco, McLennan County, Texas, USA.[1] He appeared on the census of 16 April 1910 in the household of his parents, Luther Casper Lavender and Mary Hettie Griffin[2], at Waco, McLennan County, Texas.[3] He appeared on the census of 9 June 1920 in the household of Luther Casper Lavender and Maggie B. (--?--) at Waco, McLennan County, Texas.[4]
He married Edna Vachel Bailey, daughter of John William Bailey and Mary Lizzie Wilson (Stanford) Bailey, on 19 June 1923 at Waco, McLennan County, Texas, USA.[1]
He was a house painter when he and Edna appeared on the census of 14 April 1930 at Waco, McLennan County, Texas.[5] He was a painter when he and Edna appeared on the census of 19 April 1940 at Waco, Mclennan County, Texas.[6]
Luther died on 25 Sep. 1979 at Waco, McLennan County, Texas, at age 75 and was buried at Robinson Cemetery, Robinson, McLennan County, Texas.[2] His memorial has a photo of his headstone.[7]
