Biography

Mary Ann Lawrence was born to Ben Lawrence and Elizabeth Mary Grant on February 20th 1891.

She was baptised at the same time as her brothers, George and Ben, on March 31st, 1895 in Pokesdown, Hampshire.

Mary Ann married Thomas Arthur Cryer on April 17th, 1911 in Cardiff, Wales. They had thirteen children.

In later life Mary Ann lived with her youngest daughter Eileen and her family. She was particularly close to her granddaughter Beverly.
