William (Lawrence) Craig was a British Home Child and was one of many Children Transported to Canada.
British Home Child, born William Lawrence in UK aprox 1888. Immigrated to Canada 1895 under the "HOME CHILD" programs. "Adopted??" by William Craig. Married Minnie Althea Watson in Blaine ME apros. 1909. They had 11 Children, one of which was my grandmother, Ruby L. Craig Shaw.
