David was born on 12 May 1842 and christened on 19 May 1842 in Kinnaird, Perthshire, Scotland, United Kingdom. He was the son of Hugh Lawson and Agnes Wighton.[1][2]
In 1851 David was living at Kilpents, Cargill with his mother and siblings. He was a scholar. [3]
David was the informant when his father Hugh died in 1868.[4]
In 1881 David was living at Killearn House Home Farm with his wife and four children. He was a coachman.[5]
In 1891 David was living at Blane Lodge, Killearn with his wife and five of their children. He was a coachman.[6][2]
In 1901 David was living at Burnbank, Croftamie, Scotland, with his wife and four of their children. He was a Whinstone Quarry Labourer.[7]
David passed away on 8 December 1929 in Burnbank at the age of 87.[2]
