Biography
"There was a Thomas Layton who, with wife Lydia, sold land on Manasquan River to Christopher Romine, of Bethlehem, Hunterdon County, N. J., Nov. i, 1742. Freedhold, N.J. deeds"[1]
Please note this date conflicts with DOD.
