Biography

When Susannah Layton was born in 1815 in Lawrence, Missouri, her father, Wilfred Layton, was 30, and her mother, Susannah Denike, was 44. She had two sons and two daughters with Edward Lloyd Adams between 1838 and 1844. She died as a young mother on August 12, 1847, in her hometown
