Jacqueline le Blanc (Jacoba in Latin) was born about 1579 in Armentières, Artois, France[1] to Thobi (Tobias[2]) le Blanc and Marie le Roy.[3]
On November 25, 1597, Jacqueline married Pierre Joire.[3][4] At least 10 of their children were baptized at the Roman Catholic Church in Armentières (listed in chronological order based on the baptism dates):[5]
↑ date and place from Le Blanc-6 as of December 16, 2014; Le Blan-1 had about 1580; Leblanc-2044 had birth as 1585
↑ 2.02.1 "FHL Armentières" citation in DBFA article
↑ 3.03.13.23.3 "Meurice 5" citation in DBFA article
↑ The article did not specify marriage location, but Armentières is likely, as that is where their children were baptized (FHL Armentières) and where Pierre died on November 9, 1651 (Meurice 5).
↑ information and list from the DBFA article, which cited "FHL Armentières"
↑ prior to Dec. 16, 2014, Le Blanc-6 showed August 26, 1608 as her date of death; it was probably meant to be "after" this date. She lived well past this date, to January 16, 1661 (Meurice 5). The DBFA article includes the following with the March 25, 1616 baptism record for daughter Marie: Maria infans Petri George et Jacoba le Blancq... (FHL Armentières). The article also notes that the family used "Joire" and "George" interchangeably (citing "Joire 92-93").

Le Blanc-53 and Le Blanc-6 appear to represent the same person because: These profiles have been reviewed by a member of the New Netherland Settlers project & determined to be ready for merge. Please retain the locations with the accents in the datafields. The modern "Nord, Nord-Pas-de-Calais" can be incorporated into the text. Thanks!
Jacoba and the Jacqueline match appear to be the same woman. Both have the 1579 birth.
But Jacoba shows married in 1605, and Jacqueline shows married November 25, 1597. Probably the same woman. The exact 1597 date fits age 18.
Big problem in the death. Jacoba died August 26, 1608, three years BEFORE the 1611 birth of her claimed daughter Magdalena.
Jacqueline died January 16, 1661, with no source, but at least that is humanly possible.
Please work to resolve these differences, with sources besides the stated Ancestry records.
I see no good reason to keep Jacqueline as a separate profile, a sister, perhaps. She has no claimed parents. So again, she is likely the same woman as Jacoba. But I would choose to keep Jacqueline's data.
LeBlanc-2274 and Leblanc-2044 appear to represent the same person because: they appear to have the same birth and date, and other vital information are the same.
However, I think that we've not had a problem with duplicates for so long, we should be ok with it not being PPP.
Let me know if you want me to see about having the French Roots Project protect it/be its manager (see Help:Project-Managed_Profiles for more info).
Cheers, Liz
These profiles can be merged once PPP is removed (locations were only differences... both have Petrus Joire-2).
