George, son of John Leach & Jane Leach, was baptised on 25 December 1814 in St Mary Magdalene, Bermondsey, Southwark, England.^[1]

George's death was registered at Castlepoint in 1881 Apr-May-Jun.^[2]

George was buried on his farm "Waterfalls". His memorial reads: "In Loving Memory of George Wise Leach born London 1814 died 22 April 1881".^[3]
