Thanks for having a Big Heart and adopting Orphan Profiles. You will want to read this After adopting orphans to understand what to do next.

Catch up on what everyone is up to and say hi. IT'S NEVER TOO LATE!
Although the date of his death is repeated in all of the biographies, the only evidence I have found so far is the Vital Records of Windsor, which says 2 Sept 1688, and the Headstone Inscriptions from the Palisado Cemetery at Windsor, (Vol 58, 'Hale Collection), which says 1 Sept 1688.
Please see my remarks on this under the Research Notes, and check the footnotes from the main text on his death.
Are there any other primary records regarding his death I have not seen or not taken into account? His will etc. holds no specific death date.
I do want to get this right:)
thank you, April
I left a msg. on Leach-261.

Before making any more changes, please trust me and follow these discussions ..
1) The comment on John Leach-271 page by Elizabeth Winter, from March last year re: this very subject ... It was at this time, for reasons that will become clear, that Alice Eddy was removed by Elizabeth as wife to John and I created Alice Unknown.
2) There is a somewhat extensive discussion about this subject on the G2G Forum, to be found here: Alice Hatch
As you will see, this G2G discussion is tied to the Alice (Eddy) Hatch profile that Elizabeth mentions in the comment referred to above.

Sorry for the delay in answering your question about my involvement with the Leach family ...
My 5th great grandmother was Mary Leach, from New London, Connecticut, dau. to Joseph and Mary (Rogers) Leach ... She m. Ebenezer Washburn April 1772 in Bridgewater and there are a few other instances where the Washburn's & Leach's inter-married, so I have generally had an interest in them ...
Hope this helps,
Dan
Please make sure each bit of DNA test information is added to the actual test participant's profile, not someone else's like your own. To make cousin connections, WikiTree needs to see the FamilyTree tab. Check that your Privacy on your profile is set to "Private with Public Family Tree" as a minimum. (Living minors should have an Unlisted privacy level.)
If you have not already done so, please set your preferences for your Tags Followed to include DNA and other terms of interest to you: Tags
As you add your family lines and connect to the big WikiTree, you may find new cousins. Use the Relationship calculator to see if you are related to me, Cooper-1 with http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Relationship
If you have not done so already, please set your preferences for your Tags Followed of interest to you to include DNA: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Special:Following
If you are adding any DNA test info to profiles on WikiTree, please be sure to add the tests to the actual test participant's profile, and that the Privacy is set to show the participant's Family Tree tab.
We also encourage you to join our Google+ Community for DNA discussions, questions and new information: https://plus.google.com/communities/111329829039015718912
