Biography
Sherebiah Leach was born on 10 August 1741, in Bridgewater, Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay Colony, to Josiah Leach and Joanna Wilbur.[1]
He married on 1 January 1771, Lydia Wilbur, born 17 July 1755, died 9 December 1824, at Faiirfield, Vermont, a daughter of Phillip Wilbur.[1]
He passed away on 5 April 1833, in Fairfield, Vermont and is buried in North Fairfield-Herrick Cemetery, Fairfield, Vermont.[1][2]
He and Lydia had the following children:[1]
- Sherebiah Leach Jr, b. 1771.
- Nathan Leach, b. 1775.
- Isaiah Leach, b. 1778.
- Josiah Leach, b. 1780.
- Giles Leach, b. 1784, killed 12 June 1807 by falling tree at Waterville, Vermont.
- Ira Leach, b. 1790.
- Loved Leach, b. 1791.
- Caleb Leach, b. 10 December 1794, d. 1799.
- Leonard Leach, b. 1797, d. 1799.
