Sarah Leadbetter was born to Henry and Sarah (Tolman) Leadbetter in Dorchester, Massachusetts, on Feb. 20, 1659.[1]
Her first husband was Henry Withington, who predeceased her.[1]
On Feb. 2, 1692, she married Ebenezer Holmes in Boston.[1] They had one daughter, Mary, who survived to adulthood. Sarah died in Dorchester on Dec. 18, 1696, shortly after the birth and death of their second daughter, Submit.[1]
Sarah is buried at Dorchester North Burying Ground, Dorchester, Suffolk, MA
