Question answered on G2G, Per the records in the South Carolina archives Edmond Learwood did receive a payment for Revolutionary War service. You might want to check to see if he served from Surry County, NC. He also had a plat for 600 acres of land on Beaver Dam Creek in Laurens County, SC. Also a genealogy for a John Workman of SC mentions Edmond Learwood several times.
