DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Marcy by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Marcy:
Leavitt-413 and Leavitt-307 appear to represent the same person because: Same name with variations on 413. Both have husband listed as Job Haskell. Same date of marriage, exact same very specific location listed (Hampton Falls, Rockingham, Province of New Hampshire).
I adopted Marcy Leavitt's profile recently. It said she married Job Haskell. However, she has Mary Haskell's birth date.( See History of the Town of Hampton Falls.) Leavitt-413 seems to also be married to Job Haskell. So. I'll get this straightened out. Both the PM for Leavitt- 413 and I thought Marcy, Mary and Mercy were all the same person. Oops--"cousin think".~~~~ Peggy Haskell Moss November 2, 2018
