Biography

Alvan Leavitt was born in 1798 at Turner, Maine, the son of Isaiah Leavitt and Lydia Ludden.

He married Susannah Deane on 1 May 1826. They were the parents of seven known children.

Alvan died in 1868 and is buried at the East Burial Grounds, North Turner, Maine.
