Naphthalius Parker Leavitt, son of David Leavitt & Anna Small was baptized on 10 May 1752.[1]
He married Mary Pierce.[2]
He was a Revolutionary War soldier from Harpswell, Maine, serving under Captain Nicholas Blaisdel and Colonel Wigglesworth in the Continental Army, under Captain John Snow in the 2nd Harpswell Company, under Colonel Jonathan Mitchell in the 2nd Cumberland Regement, and under Captain John Reed and Colonel Olden (or Alden) for three years. His return is dated 12 Jan. 1778, and he is on the muster roll for March and April 1779.[4]
He probably lived at Pembroke, Massachusetts, where his father David lived, and he may have moved to Maine when his cousin Jacob moved from Pembroke to Turner, Maine.
Napthalius passed away after 1794.
