I see that you haven't been active on WikiTree for some time. A lot of great and positive changes have happened in the last year or so and the community is growing at a rapid rate. I am a descendent of John Ledford III, father of jesse,Father of melvin, father of ransom, my grandfather and gordon my dad who will be 94 this year. I have alot of info and will be updating the jesse branch of the ledfords. I know he fougt in the War of 1812. He is buried in a small unmarked grave on church st in franklin nc.Melvin and Ransom are buried at Union methodist church in the Ledford Plot. I have a corner cabinet that jesse built around 1840 I inherited from my grandmother Elsie wife of ransom. Ilok forward paticipating in the Ledford history
