Jason passed away at the age of 28 on January 11, 1888, and was buried at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery which is in Dillard, Rabun County, Georgia.[1] Exactly one month later Addie gave birth to their daughter Bertha K. Ledford (1888-1888). Sadly the baby died four months later.[7]
