Biography

Henry was born in 1797. He was the son of Maximilian Leech and Elizabeth Hayes. He passed away in 1855.[1]


Attorney and President of the West Philadelphia Railroad Company (1839-1841), a member of the first Board of Commissioners of the borough of West Philadelphia (1840), an alderman (1842-1849), and first President of the Philadelphia Board of Education.
