Elizabeth was born in 1856 during the migration of her parents from England to Australia, (and later, to New Zealand), aboard the Almora. She was the daughter of Alfred Leech and Sarah Lawrence and twin sister of Almora Mary. [1] Elizabeth died, (in Melbourne Australia), shortly after the arrival of the ship there.[2]
