Biography
Mary St Leger was baptised 30 December 1612 in All Saints Church, Ulcombe, Kent, the daughter of Sir Warham St Leger and his wife Mary Hayward.[1] She married William Codd, by whom she had nine children.[2][3]
- Father: Warham St Leger, Knt., of Ulcombe and Leeds, Kent, son of Anthony Saint Leger, Knt., and Mary Scott, daughter of Thomas Scott, Knt., of Scott's Hall.[2][3]
- Mother: Mary Hayward, daughter of Rowland Hayward, Knt., Lord Mayor of London (1570-1, 1591), and his second wife, Katherine, daughter of Thomas Smythe, Knt.[2][3][4]
