Elizabeth was born about 1759, daughter of Peter Leger. Tombstones in the Huguenot churchyard in Charleston show that she had two grandsons, T.L. and T.H. Hutchinson, and a great granddaughter, Lucy Apsley Hutchinson

Elizabeth Love Hutchinson wrote her will 1 Feb 1832, and was proven 1 Apr 1834.[1] Her surviving heirs were:
