It is very unlikely John Lee was son of Henry Lee (abt.1597-1657). Henry married Marah Adkins about 1645 in York County, Virginia so John is definitely not her son and will be unlinked. If a previous marriage for Henry Lee is located in England before 1620, then John may be his son. But I doubt it. John should be unlinked from both Henry Lee and Marah Adkins as son.

This appears to be another specious profile. Where a family researcher morphed Leigh into Lee, to establish a link with a Notable Immigrant and ancestor of Robert E Lee.

There is no reference source to substantiate the "name change" .
