Hello,

Congratulations, you've been a WikiTree member for a month! We're glad you're here. A few tips to help you dive in even deeper:

Check out Beyond the Basics of WikiTree for a guide on some of our more advanced features such as Projects, Categories, and Merging.

We're very active on our social sites and we have an excellent blog where you'll find our monthly newsletter as well as tips, interviews with our members and guest posts from others in the genealogy community.

As always, I'm here to help if you have any questions!

Guy ~ WikiTree Mentor

Hello

Thank you for signing the Honor code. Collaboration, accurate information and good sources are the basis for a great WikiTree.

By signing the Honor Code you're telling others you are a responsible Wiki genealogist.

Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.

Have a nice journey on Wikitree,

Guy - Wikitree Mentor / Leader

Hi!

How are you? I'm Guy a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.

Check out How To Use WikiTree. It's a great step-by-step guide to get you started.

Don't forget our G2G Forum where many of our generous members help each other out.

When creating profiles, remember to add where you found the information. See: Sources

And I'm here to help too, just ask!

Guy

Hello Frank, You are now a member of the WikiTree Community - We are building One Collaborative Tree, with just one profile per person, so it is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree.

If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add, please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Also, be sure to include a list of the sources used, on each profile you add.

If you need help getting started, view this introductory WikiTree video. Also, check out the Help Index and the G2G forum. - Good luck growing your branches, Patt -

Thanks for the note! You clicked on the Volunteer button indicating that you would like to Volunteer to help grow our tree. Volunteering means that you want to help with the Wikitree Mission and plan to abide by the Wiki Genealogist Honor Code. If you would like to help please leave us another comment here on your profile and we will be glad to confirm you as a full member. If you just want to explore, search for relatives or family information, you can do that as a Guest without Volunteering. Please let us know. Do you want to add information to WikiTree? If so, let me know, and I'll confirm your membership. If not, you're welcome to do research, post on our forum, etc. as a guest for as long as you would like.

Regards, Lee, Wikitree Greeter

I have information about the Angus area of Scotland and would be glad to help if I can.

Hi Frank!

A warm welcome! As a guest you are encouraged to explore. Please take time to read out our Honor Code, it's what makes us a special community. The G2G forum will answer a lot of your questions, as well as the Find and Help Menus (upper right). Our goal is to have one profile per person that is properly sourced. WikiTree is a collaborative site for people of all experience levels. Please take your time and check us out. If you would like to join us, please check the Volunteer Box, and leave us a message, here on your Profile page, to that effect. We would love to have you!

Lee, Wikitree Greeter  :)
