Yes, there is an unfortunate duplication for Samuel in The Leighton Genealogy. He is listed twice with the same birth date. First as the son of John Leighton and husband of Abigail Goodwin and again as the son of Thomas Leighton & Susannah Chesley and husband of Dorcas Bunker. The birth record here in the profile confirms the parents of this Samuel to be Thomas Leighton and Susannah Chesley. Perhaps John also had a son named Samuel born on a different day.
