Catherine Allen Leighton was born July 26, 1825 in Maine.^[1] She was the daughter of Henry Leighton abd Lovice Wass.

She maried Albion Keith Parus Moore^[2]on January 7, 1844 in Steuben, Washington, Maine. They had 9 children.
