Bertha Leinkauf was born about June, 1872 in Pleasantville, Mount Pleasant, Westchester, New York, United States.

Bertha married Arthur Aaron Alexander (born about May, 1869 in Atlanta, Fulton, Georgia, United States; son of Jacob Clarence Alexander and Rebecca Esther (Levy) Alexander).^[1]
