Gravestone for Susannah Lehman Wimmer
: Susannah was the fifth child amongst nine other siblings. She was born exactly in the middle of the ten to George Lehman and Sarah Salome, who both later died in Frederick County, Maryland. Some records spell Susannah's maiden name as, "Lemon," but that seems to be an Americanization of the name and perhaps because she still spoke with a slight German accent (her Grandfather, Johan Christian Lehman, had come to this country in the early 1700's but many church services in this tight-knit community were still held in German).
Whatever the case, she met Abraham, married, and then moved west with him, raised their family, lived a long and fruitful life, and then was buried in this Wimmer Family Plot.
