Jane died in 1832 and was buried at Lyon's Creek Cemetery, Crowland Township, Upper Canada.
Jane and at least 1 child died in 1832, sources suggest that they died from chlolera.
Asiatic Cholera. It attacked a large number of men working on the Lake Erie extension of the Welland Canal, and as name after name was added to the death roll, the panic stricken survivors fled from the works.
